We then carry out a professional scale and clean to remove plaque and tartar build-up, apply fluoride if appropriate, and discuss any recommended treatments or home care improvements.

Bleeding gums are usually a sign of gingivitis — the earliest stage of gum disease caused by plaque build-up along the gum line. In most cases it is reversible with improved brushing, daily flossing, and a professional clean. If bleeding persists after two weeks of good hygiene, book an appointment so we can investigate further.

Yes. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that remineralises weakened enamel and is proven safe at the concentrations found in toothpaste, tap water, and professional applications. Our team will advise the right level for each patient's age and cavity risk during your visit.
